- “Rapid Response” is an emergency fabrication model from Bishopric for critical process equipment failures, in which Bishopric completes projects in a fraction of the standard industry timelines (e.g., days or weeks instead of months).
- Rapid Response requires an agile, highly passionate company culture where teams do what it takes—such as engineers drawing blueprints in moving vehicles—to meet emergency deadlines.
- We are very practiced at pushing ourselves to the limit. Although we haven’t always called it Rapid Response, we’ve been delivering on expedited schedules for more than 20 years.
- Critical phases of a typical project are stacked on top of one another, running in parallel to significantly shorten the project timeline.
- For multiple phases to happen concurrently, communication is critical.
- Our deep vertical integration eliminates much of the need to subcontract out parts of the project, which helps us offer the most cost-effective route to a hyper-accelerated project delivery.
- We pull on every lever we have to hasten the delivery—we use our multiple shops, we plan redundancy in staffing and equipment, etc., to make the schedule a reality.
- Gaining access to materials is critical to give us control over the schedule and collapse the project timeline by beginning fabrication as quickly as possible.
- Our customers are making an investment in us for the sake of speed, so there is a critical trust factor in these projects.
